The Chamber Orchestra of Sarasota joins forces with the Venice High School Orchestra for the second year in a row to present "Making Music Together." In a side-by-side concert, members from each ensemble share music stand, which makes for an exciting and enriching experience for the students, the chamber orchestra members, and the audience. Last season's concert was attended by over 500 people and received a standing ovation.

The Chamber Orchestra will perform Baroque masterpieces by Vivaldi and Marcello, "Sonata da Chiesa" by American composer Adolphus Hailstork, and the "Trepak" from Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings.

The VHSO will perform several works on its own and will join forces with the Chamber Orchestra for the grand finale of the concert.
