Join the Chamber Orchestra for a musical evening spanning eras and emotions. Knoxville Summer / Vienna Dawn explores the powerful interplay between nostalgic stillness and awakening energy. Journey through a child’s bittersweet memories that transform the ordinary into a sacred tapestry with Samuel Barber’s masterpiece, Knoxville: Summer of 1915, featuring soprano Hanna Brammer.

Then, travel to 19th century Vienna as the orchestra captures the crisp brilliance of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1. The concert opens with Rossini’s virtuoso Overture to La Scala di Seta.

With intimate reflection and vibrant colors, this grand finale brings the Chamber Orchestra of Sarasota's milestone 10th anniversary season to a brilliant finish. Join the artists for a post-concert reception for the entire audience.
